We're Getting Married

Hello Everyone!

This is our cute blog.  Thank you so much for visiting!  We love to show how in love we are (kisses!).

First, the biggest piece of news is that we've moved the date from March 8th to January 18th.  A two month jump I know is difficult to fathom (oh, my poor parents...), but the plans are in place, the apartment purchased, and the excitement to start into a life together is building!

And you are all invited to share the joy!  Our reception (if you couldn't tell from our engagement pictures) is themed after Singin' in the Rain.  Remember?  Brilliant dance performances by Gene Kelly and Donald O'Connor... witty, quotable dialogue like, “yes, yes, yes... no, no no! Yes, yes, yes... no, no, no!”  And of course, the classic scene where Gene Kelly dances in rain mixed with milk so that it could be seen on camera.

We won't make you dance in the cold, January rain, but we definitely encourage anyone and everyone to spice up the night with 1920s vintage theme, galoshes, raincoats, and umbrellas. (Or regular clothes are good too... we would just love to have all of our friends!) Dance to the live swing band and if you're a swing dance friend, please feel free to bring dancers and lindy-bomb the floor!

“Bless you all,” and we are so excited to share the reception night with you!
